-Tracy’s story -
My first experience with Airsoft was in the bathroom. Well, stepping out of the bathroom, actually. My friends were over to watch the UFC fight on Pay-Per-View – they were munching out on chips and snacks waiting for the Thai food to arrive and the fights to start.
I knew something was “weird” before I opened the bathroom door because the only thing I could hear was the sound from the T.V… the guys had stopped talking. Still, not suspecting anything, I opened the door and stepped out.
All I am saying is don’t ever be the LAST of your friends to buy an Airsoft gun. They lit me up like the proverbial Christmas tree. My chest looked like I had the chicken pox for a couple of hours and I was still finding orange BBs 2 weeks later.
Sure, it stung, but when it was over, none of us could stop laughing for a good 5 minutes
Of course, 2 weeks later, I had a Gas Operated Berretta 93r – which conveniently fits in my Bianchi paddle holster and at the NEXT fight night when I had the guys over, when I got up to use the bathroom, I made a show of checking my magazine before shutting the door behind me.
Now, anytime one of my friends puts his safety goggles on, that is the cue for the rest of us to do the same because dollars to doughnuts, SOMEONE is getting shot in the next couple of minutes!
They say that good friends are hard to find. I say that real good friends know the value of cover / concealment and would never shoot you from closer than 10 feet.
