-Marines Like Airsoft!

One of the things about living on a US Marine base in the barracks is that any firearms you own must be checked into the armory to have them on base.  With some of the nicer guns my friends and I owned we didn't want armorer's fingering and disassembling them all day. 

 

So, all of the guns were kept at a married guy's house out in town.  Being safety conscious we locked all of the real guns up when we started drinking.  This left nothing to play with so some airsoft guns were purchased, mostly cheapies from Big 5. 

 

Naturally the first thing a group of drunken Marines wants to find out is what the pellets will do at close range, so a sufficiently inebriated test subject was selected. 

 

The result...it leaves a welt slightly bigger than the pellet that lasts approximately a week.  The wife banished all airsoft shooting to the patio when we found out that at close range the pellets will also punch straight through plastic blinds.
