Airsoft AEG Guns

AEGs or automatic electric guns are the most popular and useful of all the Airsoft guns.   While many people start with the cheap, entry-level, spring operated guns, few people ever buy more than one of those; their second Airsoft Gun is usually a medium or higher quality Gas Operated pistol or an AEG. 

With so many fantastic companies like ICS Airsoft, Classic Army Airsoft, TSD Airsoft, Tokyo Marui, and Echo 1 Airsoft, the quality of the AEG keeps going up, while the prices keep coming down!

The popularity of the AEG is easy to understand - I "got it" the first time Gordon showed me his AEG.  I should have known better, but when he asked, “Do you want to see something neat?”  I said, “Sure!”  That is when he reached under his desk and came up with his Echo 1 G3c… on full auto!  To my credit, I had turned to run and had made a good 5 steps to the back door before he opened up on me.  By the time I made it through the door he had probably put 75 rounds into the center of my back.  (Note: after weeks of escalating the arms race at the office, I found the perfect way to dis-arm Gordon – as soon as I get to work, I strip down to my jeans and a T-Shirt... that way he can’t shoot me with out threatening our friendship!)
