In the old days, when you bought an Airsoft Pistol or Airsoft Rifle, you would have to spend more money on up-grades and accessories just to be able to have reliable fun. This is not the case today! If you shop somewhere else besides Discount Airsoft Warehouse, (and why would you?), you can still buy those trashy guns that aren’t ready to go out of the box. But here at DAW, we just don’t sell the crappy stuff.
That being said, there is always room for improvement and customization! Do you have to buy the up-graded battery to have fun with your Classic Army or ICS MP5? Heck no! But is there a certain peace of mind that comes knowing that you can fire a couple thousand rounds more than the people you are trying to shoot? Heck Yeah! If you are shooting at people 100 feet away, do you really NEED an optical sight like the Leapers Quick Aim red dot or a Laser Sight? Not really. Does it look REAL cool and give you a tactical advantage over your friends? Oh, yeah!

I laugh when I play against people who bring speed loaders onto the field… after all, who needs speed loaders when you have spare high-capacity Airsoft Magazines? And do you really need a tactical vest? Compare body welts with someone after a match that wasn’t wearing one with someone who WAS. Multiple layers of clothing are good, but a tactical vest is better… besides, where are you going to carry all your spare Airsoft Magazines?
Airsoft Eye Protectionis a must for all players, but cheapo safety glasses don’t make much of a statement… a Full Face Airsoft Mask not only says that you are serious, but keeps you from having to go to school or work then next day with BB marks on your cheeks!
