DAW is actually Gordon and Tracy, two long time friends with overlapping interests in Martial Arts, Shooting Sports, and Internet Technology. They still argue over whether Gordon shot Tracy first, or Tracy shot Gordon first, but the bottom line is that from that very first red welt, they were hooked.
Within those first few months, a miniature arms race ensued. Gordon shot Tracy with a spring action gun. Tracy bought a gas blow-back gun and shot Gordon. Gordon retaliated a week later by spraying Tracy with a full-auto electric gun. Tracy took revenge with an Airsoft Claymore mine hidden inside the refrigerator.
The short version of the story is that after spending many hundreds of dollars on Airsoft weapons and accessories, they came to the only conclusion that two rational adults could possibly come to; that they could save a lot of money if they had a wholesale license! About the same time they came to that realization, that after 2 years of helping OTHER people start online businesses, they didn’t have one themselves. That was the birth of Discount Airsoft Warehouse.
Because they are avid fans of the sport themselves and have personally experienced the disappointments of products that did not perform as advertised, they decided early on to sell only the quality products that would stand up to their high standards of quality and functionality.
